Paws For Cause – SCAOR Affiliate Spring Event 2024

Join us on Thursday, April 25th, from 4 to 6 PM at Crooked Hammock Brewery in Lewes for Paws For Cause – annual Sussex County Affiliate Spring Event! It’s a super-fun rescue dog costume contest, silent auction, doggie donation drive, rescue dog adoption, and awareness event for Grass Roots Rescue  the all-volunteer, 501 C 3, nonprofit group that saves dogs at risk in shelters and within the community. 

Bring your unopened dog food or treats (puppy food & training treats encouraged), Leashes, collars, and harnesses, Toys and tennis balls, New or gently used towels, sheets and blankets, Cleaning supplies, Shampoo/Grooming supplies, and Food & Water bowls for our doggie donation drive.

Step up to the plate and be one of the four one hundred dollar sponsors we’re seeking to help cover future adoption costs for dogs in need. Plus – your sponsorship will allow you and your team to craft a creative medium sized costume for one of our Rescue dogs to wear while tail wagging down the red carpet. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on their favorite costume for extra fun and competition!
