MLS Membership Information
MLS Membership Requirements
Please review the following requirements and instructions for becoming a member of InnoVia, the MLS system used by SCAOR.
The broker/owner of the real estate or appraisal company must join our MLS before any member of the office can join. The broker/owner will be the Participant in our Multiple Listing Service. The broker/owner must be a member in good standing with a local board in Delaware or a state contiguous to Delaware or join our Association.
Each new office must complete a separate new office application. Once a member, all licensees/appraisers of the Participant’s office who want to establish membership with InnoVia complete a separate MLS membership application. Any licensees/appraiser of the Participants office who do not want to establish membership with Innovia must complete a waver form.
Membership in InnoVia will be activated after all paperwork and fees are received. Fees are currently $245.00 per year per licensee for SCAOR Members and $300.00 per year licensee for Non-SCAOR Members. A $150.00 office application fee is due for each office, and a $150.00 MLS application fee is required for each licensee wishing to join. Clerical personnel must complete an MLS application form along with a waiver form to be exempt from fees. Once your membership is processed, you will be given a login and password and instructions on how to enter the MLS. Within 60 days of membership, all licensees and clerical personnel are required to attend a 3-hour MLS training class. Failure to complete training will result in termination of service. Classes are held monthly at our Association office in Georgetown, DE.
On www.scaor.com under Membership, then Membership Forms, you will find the forms necessary to join our Multiple Listing Service. By joining our MLS you agree to be responsible for all fees, including those of all licensees affiliated with the Participant’s office and to abide by the rules and regulations of the Multiple Listing Service.
